Topsoil Restoration

Rye and cover crops do the hard work

Between plantings, heavy winter rye and clover restore natural field vitality without chemical input. The herd stays on open clover pasture until the frost turns the valley silver, returning vital nutrients directly to the soil.

We harvest orchard peaches only when the stem yields freely to a loose grip, ensuring every seasonal fruit reaches true maturity on the branch.

Winter Cover

Early tillage prepares the tilled rows for rotation crops while clover fields wake under spring rain.

Cattle rotate across open pastures, allowing grazed paddocks months of undisturbed recovery.

Tree and field fruits are hand-picked at peak ripeness when stems yield to a gentle pull.

Rye cover crops blanket the acreage to protect topsoil composition through the cold months.

Field Note

The land dictates the pace. When you listen to the weather and respect the resting pasture, the harvest takes care of itself.
